“We had a great 7days at this hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the pool and beach. A great comfy king size bed, a huge washroom, a balcony and a cold air conditioner which definitely is needed for the high humidity outside. No, the room wasn’t damp as posted by others(probably from the efficient air conditioning.) Food and restaurant choices were the low points of this place BUT apparently there are going to be improvements to be made sometime at the latter part of the year. There are lots of restaurants in the island and taxi ride to the main downtown will cost you $200 Mexican Pesos ($7CDN). The hotel is situated on the quieter side of the island which is good for R&R. The beach quality is alright-lots of sea grass (natural growing-not sargassum)take a cab to Playa Norte for the best beach. The drink quality both alcoholic and non are excellent quality. This hotel shines because of the employees namely Reyes, Gerardo( pool bar servers), Noemi (cafe server), Carolina, Yaiyme(Jamie) front desk. The rooftop hotel is adults only and the main pool is sufficient. I can say that this hotel is geared more for adults as there aren’t any facilities for children like a playground or the like.”
“My husband and I came here for a quick mini-moon and had a wonderful time! Best parts: - Very friendly staff - The green juice at breakfast!! - Sunset views from the beach bar - Even though it’s family-friendly it was still pretty quiet and relaxing - The passionfruit margarita Definitely would recommend this place! One suggestion is to put your room AC on dehumidifier mode - without it our room was pretty sticky with humidity.”
